CYTO Women was proposed by an engaged group of women at CYTO 2019 and seeks to address the involvement of women in ISAC, with encouragement and support, so that women from all constituencies play an active role on committees and programs, as well as in leadership positions within ISAC and across the field of cytometry.
All delegates are welcome to join us for an introduction on CYTO Women and how the program can help you achieve your goals in the field or how you can support women you work with.
We will also be joined by Tash Mikitas from Full Stop Australia, who will deliver a presentation about Respectful Workplaces: Prevention and response to workplace sexual harassment. This presentation aims to increase the knowledge, skills and confidence of all workers, while creating a positive, productive work culture where every employee feels safe and respected.
The session will conclude with an open panel discussion open to the audience with some leading role models in the field.
